JM Drones – Terms and Conditions
Below is the Terms and Condition of JM Drones, Please read carefully as agreeing to a quote with us means you agree to the T&Cs listed below.

VAT Status
JM Drones is not VAT registered and operates below the UK VAT registration threshold. As such, VAT is not charged on any services provided and the Quote issued to you is also the receipt. -
Payment Methods
JM Drones accepts payment via Cash or PayPal Invoice only. Cash must be agreed to in advance of the job. -
Payment Terms
Payment is due after completion of the job. Once payment has been received, JM Drones will release the final deliverables (Report, Photos or videos) within 7 working days. (where bank holidays and weekends occur this is carried over the next working day). Where it is mapping please note this may take up to 14 days for this to come through as it will depend upon speeds of the mapping software. -
Delivery of Photos and Videos
All photos and videos and documents will be delivered via DSR Transfer. This system allows us to track when files are sent and opened, and provides a 7-day download window for clients to collect their files. -
Refund Policy
All payments made after completion of services are non-refundable this includes cash payments. -
Use of work for promotional reasons
You as the client agree that JM Drones can use the work conducted for you, for the use of marketing and proof of work on our site, social media. -
Postponement of Work
JM Drones reserves the right to postpone any scheduled job where necessary due to safety concerns, adverse weather conditions, or other operational reasons where it is no longer in the interest of JM Drones to carry out the work. -
Rescheduling
If a job is postponed by JM Drones/Client within a reasonable reason, a free reschedule will be offered at a mutually agreed date and time, that works for both parties. -
Right to Decline Work
JM Drones reserves the right to withdraw from a task or refuse work where safety concerns arise or where conditions are unsuitable for safe drone operation or no longer within the interest of JM Drones. -
Long-Term Clients
For long-term clients, JM Drones will aim to support scheduled work where possible. However, if we are unable to support a specific date and rescheduling is not possible, JM Drones reserves the right to decline that particular tasking. -
Acknowledgement of Risk
By engaging JM Drones’ services, the client acknowledges that drone operations, dose inherent risks. While all reasonable precautions are taken, there is a remote possibility of incidents such as equipment malfunction, property damage, or fire, While insurance is valid and covered for this activity it should be noted by the client and where staff or visitors on site should be notified of the planned activity being conducted and that they are at risk and accept this risk and allow us to continue to operate. -
Permission to Operate
The client must provide permission for JM Drones to take off and land from their property to carry out the agreed services. Where the Client is NOT the land owner see point 13 below. -
Third-Party Land Permission
If the client does not own the land where take-off or landing is required, the client must obtain permission from the landowner (Events) and provide evidence of this permission before operations can proceed. Where this is not possible JM Drones will use Open Public Land to attempt to complete the work (Where possible). if it is own property then point 12 is required. -
Notification of Authorities
For operational reasons where the public may be present, JM Drones may notify the local police authority to ensure they are aware of drone activity in the area or any other authorities where applicable. This is part of the CAP722 Regulation and also part of the Admin we do for you. -
Site Safety Responsibilities
Where a site contains staff or members of the public, the client is responsible for informing them of the drone activity and ensuring they keep a safe distance from the landing area and pilot. -
Travel and Accommodation Costs
Where travel or accommodation is required to complete a job, additional costs may be applied to the quote these are fixed prices based on current UK-Wide trends in the accommodation rates and fuel costs and Ferry Costs and Flights or Hire costs. -
Pricing Policy
JM Drones reserves the right to review and adjust pricing annually and may offer discounts where appropriate, on a case by case basis. Where a quote is issued and a price increase takes place the quote agreed will be honoured. -
Discounts and Promotions
Discounts may be offered at JM Drones’ discretion. Discounts cannot be combined with promotional sales or special offers and some discounts may be one-off specials to you specificlly. each quote is special to the individual work. -
Long-Term Client Agreements
JM Drones offers a long-term client arrangement where clients provide exclusive or priority work opportunities. In return, the client may receive reduced pricing. However, the conditions outlined in points 6, 7, and 8 will still apply.
